OVERVIEW

In these scenes, the group is taken prisoner by pirates while the boat is caught in a storm. As tension increase, doubts and conflits arise. The pirate leader, Olson isolats Fliss. When an opportunity to sound the alarm présents itself, things quickly escalate. 

CHALLENGE & APPROACH

Storm is a scene without exploration gameplay but with a lot of dialogues and several differents outcomes. As a Level Designer on this scene, my challenge was to correctly connect all the dialogues to have coherents and immersive sequences resulting in differents andines. As some choices are very important and could lead to death of some main characters, it was important to be able to transmit good intentions in interactions to allow players to make conscious and informed choices and so he doesn’t feel injustice in the taken actions.
